At Airène, every collection begins with the fabric.
We work with exceptional deadstock textiles sourced from European luxury maisons — fabrics produced for previous collections, left unused, and waiting to be given another life.
Because these materials exist in limited quantities, every Airène piece is produced in intentionally small numbers.

For us, deadstock is not simply a way to reduce waste. It is a creative starting point.
We are drawn to the character, quality and unexpected beauty of fabrics that already exist. A particular silk, a beautifully textured wool, an embroidered mesh or an unusual cotton can inspire an entire silhouette and shape the direction of a collection.
Designed around what already exists
Deadstock fabrics are inherently limited. There may be only a few metres available. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, we love it.
It means that our collections are produced in intentionally small quantities, and some pieces can never be reproduced once their fabric is gone. Each garment therefore carries a certain sense of rarity — not created artificially, but naturally determined by the material itself.

Our use of deadstock means that no two collections are quite the same. The fabrics we discover influence the colours, textures, proportions and quantities of what we create.
This makes Airène inherently limited — and intentionally so.
We do not design around endless availability.
